Pass Plus Course

Who Can Do Pass Plus?

You can take Pass Plus at any time, but it is prodominately designed for drivers who have qualifed within the last 12 months.

 

What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus aims to equip Newly qualified drivers to improve on their exisitng driving knowledge, resulting in safer driving and lower insurance premiums.

Statistics show that Newly qualified drivers are more likely to have an accident within their first 2 years of driving, due to their lack of driving experience.

 

What's covered on Pass Plus?

Pass Plus covers 6 driving modules, these being:-

  1. Driving about town
  2. All weather driving
  3. Driving on rural roads
  4. Driving at night
  5. Driving on Dual Carriageways
  6. Motorway driving

 

How much does Pass Plus cost?

If pupils use our instructor car, each lesson will cost £20.00.

For those pupils who wish to use their own vehicle, the price reduces to £15.00 per lesson. 

 

How long does Pass Plus Take?

Pass Plus is a minimum of 6 hours training.

How is Pass Plus delivered?

Pass Plus is pratical based, however dependant on local conditions/time of year, one or more modules maybe theory based. There is no practical exam at the end, as you are being continually being assessed during the moduals.

During each of the 6 modules, your instructor will complete a training report which pupils will sign and date when the required standard has been reached.

 

What happens after the modules have been completed?

On sucessfully completing the Pass Plus Training, pupils will be sent a "Pass Plus Certificate" to claim a discount off their insurance policy.

 

In addition pupils can opt to develop their driving skills further by undertaking an "Advance Driving Test", taking driving skills up a level and giving pupils further financial benefits.
